Celebrating Air Max - Nike

As one of my biggest projects to date, “Celebrating Air Max” reflects my
ability to lead a creative vision from idea to execution. I was involved in every stage of the process—developing the concept, directing on set, editing and handling all post-production.
This campaign video was inspired by themes of imagination, experimentation and pushing boundaries—drawing from the limitless curiosity of space exploration.

Behind the scenes

To bring my idea to life, I crafted a narrative featuring two models in a stylised outer space, conveyed through three distinct but interconnected sets:

Set 1: Gravity Defied
I had the entire studio painted green—including the floor and several plinths—to create a fully immersive green screen environment. Later, in post production, I overlayed the campaign artwork designs and animated them to emphasise surrealism and movement.

Set 2: Cosmic Surface
I got an outer space photo printed in backdrop size and got them stapled to two studio wooden walls. I then gave some atmosphere to the scene by adding red lighting and using a smoke machine. Finally, wide-angle lenses and low camera angles were used to exaggerate scale and give the visuals a cinematic, off-planet feel.

Set 3: Lunar Spotlight
I positioned a spotlight above the set to mimic the glow of the moon and create a dramatic, atmospheric mood. To introduce a sense of movement and weightlessness, I had the models stand on a turntable, rotating slowly as they gazed into the distance. The contrast between light and shadow, combined with the subtle motion, added a dreamlike, celestial quality to the scene.
